Palms Out Sound

Analise Hausmann is a composer, poet, musician and songwriter from Central Vermont. As a composer she has written chamber music, film scores, and electro-acoustic works. Her film score work has been featured in the Telling Stories Frame by Frame film showcase hosted by the Vermont Arts Council. She has released two EPs of electro-acoustic compositions featuring a blend of violin extended technique, electronic sounds, and field recordings. As a poet her work has been published in the Wilderness House Literary Review, LitBreak Magazine, and featured at the Plex Art Fest. Analise is a violinist who has performed with the Montpelier Fiddle Orchestra and the Vermont Philharmonic. She holds an MFA in Music Composition from the Vermont College of Fine Arts.
